The adjustable speed dial makes a huge difference when moving from thick undercoat to delicate areas like ears and paws. Battery life held up through two full grooming sessions on my labradoodle, and the noise level didn't spook her once. Exactly what I needed for at-home trims.

My old clippers kept pulling at my pup's fur, but these glide through thick coats like butter and the 5-speed control makes it easy to slow down around sensitive areas. The cord is long enough that I don't have to wrestle with an outlet mid-groom, and the blades stay cool even after a full session.
