I was skeptical about needing both wire pins and nylon bristles in one brush, but it really cuts grooming time in half. My golden retriever's coat comes out smooth and shiny after each session, and she actually stays still for it now.

The wire pins and nylon bristles combo got through my shepherd's tangled patches in one pass, and she actually stood still for once. I've already used it three times this week, and the coat looks noticeably smoother each session.

The combo of wire pins and nylon bristles means I can de-shed and then smooth her coat in one pass, which saves me a lot of time. It really does leave her fur looking clean and healthy after every grooming session.
