My dog figured out the lock mechanism within a day, and now I don't have to worry about him wandering out when I'm not looking. The lock feels sturdy against his pushing, and it's easy enough for me to slide open with one hand.
Fitting these took about ten minutes and they’ve made our mudroom way less drafty; the lock mechanism clicks solidly and our 60-pound lab hasn’t been able to muscle it open once. Probably the best money I’ve spent on door accessories this year.
